The first Tuemmler in our branch of the family to come from Germany to America was Karl Tuemmler.  He was born Johann Carl Wilhelm Tümmler on April 28, 1835 in Weimar, in the Grand Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach (now Germany).
